WOW.. The Starlite Nightmare team won their section ( senior cabaret ) beating 19 other dance teams. They now go on to the Grand Finals to be held in Wolverhampton in November.

KENT DANCE CHALLENGE..October 2007

This was a new competition for Starlite Dancers ( Held at Mote Hall, Maidstone).
All dance styles, Street, Hip Hop, Ballet, Cheer, Tap, Contempory and Irish.
Starlite was the only Ballroom/Latin school at this event.

Judged by 6 top adjudicators from the Stage, Performing Arts, Salsa and the choreographer for many of Kylie Minogues International Shows.


In the 14 and over section, from a entry of 22 teams, STARLITE NIGHTMARE TEAM took 1st place in the following:-

1st...Costumes award
1st...Personality award

1st... Overall in the 14 and under section.

Then WOW

1st...Overall winning team from both sections. ( 13 and under & 14 and above ).

This was a great result for this team , it was also their first ever performance dancing on a stage, as they are used to competing and training on a dance floor.

The pairs competitions were very successful for Starlite pupils winning the majority of the events. Also a big well done to Starlite parents who took the first 5 places in the final of the parent/child.

Congratulations......Starlite teams won both events and the Juvenile winning team beat the current British champions. There was a further challenge where winning teams competed against each other to win 2 enormous trophies...this was judged by 2 judges and an audience vote.   Results as follow....

THE ALAN TITCHMARSH SHOW

Hannah Gibbs and Kieran Baker were invited to dance on the pilot show on Friday 23rd March at the London Studios. They met alan, Tess daley ,Brendan Cole plus other celebs. The series is due to show live in september, and we will keep you updated on their performance. WOW

On Saturday 6th January, the following couples danced and made the finals in a prestigious competition called the Champions of Tomorrow at the Winter Gardens Ballroom in Blackpool.

Congratulations to the Starlite Gems!

The Starlite Gems, winners at this years British Dance Championships have made the final of a Nationwide dance competition. The BARBIE DANCE STARS finals will take place on Sunday 3rd December in London. The panel of adjudicators include Arlene Phillips of Strictly Come Dancing fame.
Well done Gems, there were over 1000 ENTRIES  and you have made the final.  WOW.
There are only 6 acts in their age group plus 2 other age groups making a total of 18 finalists.
