Ballroom and Latin dance classes in Kent

We teach ballroom and Latin-American dance classes for adults and children of all ages and levels, as well as a kids’ street dance class. We also hold practice evenings for dancers twice weekly. All our classes are held in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Adults – new beginners ballroom and Latin

This new class starts at Dance Junction, Rochester on Thursday 17 September.

Adults – beginners/improvers ballroom and Latin

We hold a ballroom and Latin class for beginners and improvers at Ditton Community Centre from 7 – 8pm every Tuesday night. We cover the ten standard dances, including waltz, foxtrot, quickstep, tango and Viennese waltz in ballroom, and cha-cha-cha, rhumba, samba, jive and paso doble in Latin.

We teach classes in adults’ ballroom and Latin and kids’ ballroom, Latin and streetdance

The class is followed by an optional two-hour session in which you can practice and refine the dances you’ve learned.

Adults – improvers’ ballroom and Latin

Our Thursday ballroom and Latin class is for improvers, and is held from 7.30pm – 8.30pm at the Dance Junction in Rochester.

It’s followed by an optional practice session until 11pm.

Children – street dance class

Our kids’ street class is held from 9 – 9.45am every Saturday at Leybourne Village Hall.

Kids’ beginner ballroom and Latin runs from 9.45 – 10.30am every Saturday at Leybourne Village Hall.

Dance practice nights

Our regular practice nights are a great opportunity for dancers of all ages and levels to hone and refine their moves. Each practice comprises four sessions – ballroom-Latin-ballroom-Latin – with the right music for all the dances in each style.

Practice nights:

  • 8 – 10pm Tuesdays at Ditton Community Centre
  • 8.30 – 11pm Thursdays at Dance Junction
