Jason Parkinson and Mark Shutlar present the Northern Masters formation and pairs competition on Saturday 6 February at the Tower Ballroom, Blackpool.

   • Waltz and separate cha-cha-cha event where a dancer of any age group must dance with someone from another dance school

   • no split partnerships
   • all juveniles to wear plain costume with no sequins or diamante (no high heeled shoes)
   • juveniles to dance basic figures only (not applicable in six-leg or other fun comps)
   • juvenile = under 12 (3 month rule allowed for one member of partnership)
   • junior – under 16 (one person must be at least 12)
